A number of regional & national level of seminars, workshops and extension lectures are organized from time to time to give a wider perspective of the innovations and development taking place in different fields to the students as well as teachers. They enlighten and enrich the mind and open new avenues of thought and research in different fields as they provide an opportunity to interact and learn from veterans of the educational community.
Extension Lecture on "National Education Policy 2020" was organized by extension lecture committee on February 19, 2024.The key speaker on this occasion was Dr Sonia Anand, Principal Hindu College, Sonipat. In her speech Dr Sonia said that National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP) envisions a massive transformation in education through– "an education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India, that is Bharat, sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all, thereby making India a global knowledge superpower." The NEP 2020 is founded on the five guiding pillars of Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability.
Extension Lecture on "Health And Wellness" was organized by extension lecture committee on September 25,2023.The key speaker on this occasion was Dr Vibha Dua, Gastroexterologist,Dua hospital,Sonipat. In her speech Dr Vibha Dua emphasized that Nutrition is a critical part of health and development. Health is the state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease, or infirmity. Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices toward, a more successful existence. A healthy diet is essential for good health and nutrition. It protects you against many chronic non communicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Extension Lecture on "Digital Transaction and Fraud Awareness" was organized by extension lecture committee on 26 th September 2022.This Extension Lecture was organized in collaboration with Axis Bank,baiyanpur branch. Mr Harsh Bhasin from axis bank addressed our faculty and students about the importance of digital transaction and how one can save himself/herself from digital frauds. A digital transaction is a seamless system involving one or more participants, where transactions are effected without the need for cash. The digital transaction involves a constantly evolving way of doing things where financial technology (fintech) companies collaborate with various sectors of the economy for the purpose of meeting the increasingly sophisticated demands of the growing tech-savvy users.
